Can we drive up?

Yes you can but our road is quite challenging. SUV or a truck would be best for our steep and narrow road.

Charges for children?

We only charge children above 4 years old.

Where can we park?

Guests can park your vehicles at Misty Mountain or the Kahaani car park without any charges. From Kahaani it is a 5-minute walk or you can take the hotel buggy.

Are we allowed to cook?

We do not encourage cooking but we have a microwave and kettle in our pantry.

Is the Hobbit House hot?

Misty Mountain is on high terrain, surrounded by the rainforest. We are blessed with cooling weather. At night it can be as low as 18C. It won’t be hot and stuffy. There is ample ventilation and also a ceiling fan in the Hobbit House .

What amenities are provided?

We provide amenities such as hairdryer, towels, body wash, shampoo & conditioner.

Are there lots of mosquitoes?

As we are in the forest, there will be a small number of mosquitoes and insects but we always do fogging before guests arrive and mosquito repellent is in the rooms.

Is Misty Mountain wheelchair friendly?

We are not wheelchair friendly as we are a farm and our grounds can be uneven.

Can we bring pets?

We have many farm animals, and for their safety we do not allow guests to bring pets .

Possible to check in early?

No. We need time to clean up rooms and do mosquito fogging before new check-ins. We welcome guests from 3 pm onwards.

Is Misty Mountain children friendly?

Children would love our place but we cannot childproof a farm. Parents must always attend to your children at all times and we won’t be held responsible for your children's safety.
